Title: God Is Working in the Silence

Scripture: Isaiah 40:31

There are seasons in life when God feels… quiet.

You’re praying.
You’re seeking.
You’re doing your best to stay faithful.

But there’s no clear answer.
No direction.
No sign that anything is changing.

And if you’re honest… it can feel frustrating.

Because we often expect God to move loudly—through open doors, clear signs, or immediate breakthroughs.

But what happens when He doesn’t?

What happens when all you hear… is silence?

Isaiah 40:31 says, “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”

That means there is something happening in the waiting.

Even when God is silent, He is not absent.

Silence does not mean God has left you.
Silence does not mean God is ignoring you.
Silence does not mean nothing is happening.

It means God is working in ways you cannot see yet.

Sometimes God is silent because He’s building your trust.
Sometimes He’s silent because He’s strengthening your faith.
And sometimes He’s silent because He’s preparing something bigger than what you expected.

If God answered everything immediately, you wouldn’t need faith.

But in the silence… faith is developed.

So instead of becoming discouraged, learn to lean in.

Trust Him when you don’t understand.
Trust Him when you don’t see results.
Trust Him when the answers don’t come right away.

Because just because God is quiet…
Doesn’t mean He’s not moving.

He’s working behind the scenes.

And when the time is right, He will reveal what He’s been doing all along.

Stay faithful.

Stay patient.

Stay trusting.

God is working—even in the silence.
